What the table shows:
- Each supplier is lowest on at least one line, so splitting the order by line is worth a look.
- Hollowpine's total looks lowest, but it covers only 4 of the 5 lines. It didn't quote the threaded rod.
- The washers row has no lowest marked. One supplier priced per box of 100 and the others per piece, so the prices can't be compared as written.
- Tarnbrook can deliver in 1 day. If your customer needs the parts tomorrow, that can matter more than a small price difference.
- The same item. A cheaper line may be a different brand or an equivalent part.
- The same unit. Per box and per piece look alike in a table.
- Missing lines. A low total can simply mean fewer lines.
- Delivery time. A low price doesn't help if the parts arrive too late.
- Extra charges. Freight, tax and discounts can be on the quote but outside the lines. The tool shows them as their own rows when a quote states them.
- How long the price holds. Some quotes are valid for a week, some for a month.

What happens to the quotes I upload?
Your files stay in your browser. The page takes the text, or an image of each scanned page, out of the file, and only that is sent to be read. It goes to an outside AI service, routed only to providers that state they don't train on it. That text includes the supplier names on your quotes. Each comparison opens at its own link, which anyone you send it to can read. Without an account, the link works for 14 days.

Do my suppliers need to do anything?
No. The tool works on quotes you've already received. Next time, if you send your request through SourcingHQ, suppliers bid from an email link without creating an account.
What if the quotes cover different items?
Lines only one supplier quoted show a gap for the others, and a line nobody else quoted is flagged. Each total shows how many lines it covers, such as "4 of 5 lines", so you don't compare totals for different orders. Check the matching step for items the tool put on the wrong row. Then ask the missing suppliers to quote the lines they left out.
